Unicaf University in Malawi and Institute of Marketing in Malawi (IMM) Form Strategic Partnership to Foster Marketing Education and Professional Growth

Unicaf University in Malawi (UUM) and the Institute of Marketing in Malawi (IMM) proudly announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at enhancing marketing education and professional development in the region. The official ceremony, which took place recently, marked the beginning of a dynamic collaboration between the two esteemed institutions.

 

IMM, a leading corporate membership body with 340 active members dedicated to advancing the marketing profession in Malawi, conducts a variety of events including short courses, webinars, conferences, panel discussions, open lectures, meet and greets, and more to empower its members. Recognising the shared vision for empowering marketers and fostering industry growth, Unicaf University and the IMM have joined forces.

 

Under this partnership, Unicaf University will provide IMM members with exclusive access to its accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral-level marketing degrees, supported by generous corporate scholarships. This initiative aligns with IMM’s mission to promote, enhance, and regulate the marketing profession, enabling its members to advance into influential positions within the industry.

 

In return, Unicaf University will benefit from an influx of marketing students from IMM’s membership, gaining access to a pool of talented individuals dedicated to advancing their skills and knowledge in the field. The collaboration will open new avenues for networking, knowledge exchange, and professional growth, reinforcing Unicaf University’s commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering industry connections.

 

The MOU signing ceremony, conducted successfully, was followed by a productive meeting between the institutions’ leadership teams. During the meeting, Unicaf University’s Vice-Chancellor engaged with IMM representatives to align their academic calendar with future events organised by IMM. This strategic coordination ensures that Unicaf University remains at the forefront of industry trends, offering relevant and cutting-edge education to its students.
