Unicaf University Organises Quiz Competition in Honour of International Women’s Day

On March 8th 2023, Unicaf University in Malawi organised a Female Quiz night, in honour of International Women’s Day. 

25 female students were invited to the Chinese Gardens in Lilongwe, where the quiz was set to take place. The students were also allowed to bring their friends along with them, to celebrate together.

The quiz, which consisted of three rounds, would have a selection of cash prizes for the participating teams to compete for. The first prize was 150,000 Malawian Kwacha, and the second and third prizes were 100,000 and 50,000 Malawian Kwacha respectively.

The event was moderated by the Marketing team of Unicaf University in Malawi, and the participants were served with food and refreshments. As an added gift, all the students and their friends were gifted with chocolates and roses in honour of International Women’s Day, courtesy of the Unicaf University Management team.

The event ended with the prizes being awarded to the winners, with Dr Golden Banda congratulating the winning teams for their achievement. The quiz was a fun experience for the students and staff alike, and the invited guests showed their interest in registering at Unicaf University themselves as well.
